What is ERFS
ERFS is the abbreviation of Entrants, Returnees Follow-up System, which is a health confirmation system for immigrants implemented by the Immigration Health Management Center.
If foreigners want to enter Japan, they need to be sponsored by the Japanese side to apply the ERFS certification using this system.
Application for ERFS Certification
There are two parts to the application for the certificate,
one is the application for the registration ID of the person responsible for sponsoring, and the other is the application for the foreigner to enter the country in advance.
First, the Japanese side sponsor (company, school, organization, etc.) obtains the registration ID, and then individually registers the entry information of foreigners who plan to enter the country.
